Cesar Gonzalez

Cesar coaches CEOs and executives for the Obama Foundation, the Gates Foundation, TechStars and Talentism. He is originally from Lima, Peru but has lived in Paris, London, Buenos Aires, Honolulu and LA. He holds a BS from the California Institute of Technology in Electrical and Computer Engineering. As a coach, Cesar helps professionals build more accurate maps of themselves and their environment so they can navigate effectively towards their goals and truly unleash their potential. He is a 2018 On Being Fellow, a finalist for the 2017 American Express Leadership Prize, and the former CEO of StartingBloc.

Laura McKenna

Laura McKenna has spent over twenty years of leading people and organizations, managing relationships, teaching, and coaching.  


She is a 2001 graduate of West Point, where she was awarded the John Hottell Award for Academic Excellence as well as recognized for excellence in communication by being inducted into Phi Alpha Theta.  


A top-rated officer and Afghanistan veteran, Laura finished her military career teaching leadership at West Point, where she was awarded the Coach Krzyewski Award for Teaching Excellence. Her current opportunities include Clarity Coaching with Talentism, relationship management and regional outreach for USAA, and wellness coaching.

Julia Markish

Julia is an Executive Coach at Talentism, as well as the founder of Orca, a culture consultancy. Recently, as the Global Employee Practice Director at Medallia, Julia had the privilege of working hand-in-hand with some of the world's most complex organizations on their approach to Employee Experience Management. Combined with the six years she spent as a management consultant at Bain & Company, along with the leadership roles she has held at various tech companies, Julia's experience has uniquely prepared her to approach the topics of leadership, management and culture with a business lens. She enjoys partnering with leaders that recognize the power of addressing confusion productively, and helping them identify and build contexts in which they thrive. Julia has her BA in Cultural Linguistics and Cognition from Cornell University, and her MBA from Stanford.

Brittany Ryden

Brittany Ryden is the founder and CEO of La Chispa, a social impact business incubator. She helps aspiring entrepreneurs in Mexico and Kenya develop companies that better their communities.


Prior to La Chispa, Brittany spent 6 years at Bridgewater Associates. She managed their Trading Strategy and Analytics team, as well as worked alongside the CEOs to systematize management.


Her international and cross-industry experience enables her to bring an out-of-the-box perspective to business strategy and implementation.

John Vermeesch

John is an Executive Coach for Talentism. He combines a unique academic background with 30 years of practical leadership experience as a senior U.S. Army officer, corporate leader, and entrepreneur to pursue his compulsion of helping people and teams learn and grow in order to win the right way, every day.

After graduating from West Point, John served as an infantry officer, leading and training large organizations in preparation for world-wide contingencies. He has deployed and led Soldiers in combat three times. During his most recent combat deployment he led a 900+ person organization in Baghdad that delivered security, economic development, and essential services to 3.1 million Iraqi citizens in an area roughly the size of Philadelphia. In his final Army assignment, he was the Director of an enterprise level center of excellence that helped the Army adhere to its professional ethic and develop character in its 1.2 million soldiers and civilians. Following his career in the Army, John worked as the Director, Leadership Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a large

multinational biotech company, where he was responsible for executive development, talent assessment, and the design and delivery of developmental programs for high potential leaders. John is the Founder and Principal of JAV Leadership Solutions, LLC. John holds a Master of Science in Education and Leadership Development from Long Island University, a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has published multiple articles in distinguished military journals and is the recipient of numerous military awards, including the Legion of Merit, multiple Bronze Stars, and the Purple Heart.
John and his wife have been married for nearly 30 years and they have four amazing sons. John loves all sports and is an avid outdoorsman. When he is not pursuing his professional passion of inspiring leaders to make the world and the workplace better, you will find him cheering on one of his favorite teams or afield in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.

Lauren Heller

Lauren is Head of Customer Success at Talentism. Lauren began her career in psychiatric research working on studies spanning genetics, psychopharmacology, and behavioral treatment trials.


After completing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Lauren worked in executive search to help CEOs of high growth, digital health organizations build their leadership teams. Prior to joining Talentism, Lauren served as Chief of Staff at CareMore Health, an integrated payer and provider specializing in high acuity, vulnerable populations.


Her work at both Oxeon and CareMore has been largely focused on attracting and optimizing leadership teams in high growth and complex business environments.

Alanna Miller

In addition to her work with Talentism, Alanna is a senior practice manager at Axiom, the world’s largest non-traditional provider of legal services and the recognized leader in the business of law. Utilizing Axiom’s deep legal and business expertise and operational prowess, Alanna works with law departments in top global life sciences & healthcare corporations to improve risk profiles, lower cost, and create long-term value for their organizations.

With a background in executive search and expertise in compassionate and fact-based problem-solving, Alanna has led teams in talent-oriented roles throughout her career. She is a CTI co-active trained coach, speaks fluent German, and is a published author.

Eric Olsen

Eric Olsen began developing a love for process and operations during his studies at West Point.


After his 10 years of active duty, his operational background led him to various business roles focusing on process improvement, engineering, and organizational leadership and development before turning his attention to full-time consulting for small-to-medium-sized businesses in order to help them unlock their full potential.

Alicia Greer

Alicia Greer is currently the Director of Operations, Finance and Human Resources at The Innovation Network and a clarity coach with Talentism. She is also an executive coach, leadership and team-building consultant, and serves as a keynote speaker on inspirational and motivational leadership.
Alicia graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1999 with a degree in Mathematics earning an award for obtaining the highest GPA in Math courses in her class. She was commissioned into the US Army as an Engineer Officer.
During her service in the Army, Alicia served in Afghanistan, where she was directly responsible for the first unit of Army Engineers deployed in response to the attacks on September 11, 2001. Alicia also has deployments to Iraq and Puerto Rico. She earned numerous military awards to include 2 Bronze Stars and a Presidential Unit Citation among others.
After her military career, Alicia received an MBA and was hired by Goldman Sachs, where she managed several teams as a Vice President in Operations. Alicia was selected to serve on the Leadership Development Planning Committee, Women in Operations Panel, MBA and Veterans Recruiting Team, Asian Professional Network Committee, and was a mentor to several groups and individuals. 
Recently, Alicia was the recipient of the Outstanding Alumnae Award at Stone Ridge Sacred Heart School for making significant contributions to her community and profession. Alicia was also selected to join the Leaders of Greater Washington Signature Program 2020.
