When I recruited for strategic bus dev, I would ask candidates to walk me through assessment factors for acquisition targets and if they didn't bring up corporate culture, it was a big problem I(they probably weren't making it past my phone screen). And lots of people didn't make it past my phone screen. ; )

Agreed - Cultural issues have lead to the demise of many corporate M&A.

Is culture - so objective that Recruiters can go ahead and evaluate candidates easily on its fit.

What about the importance of PERCEPTION (recruiter's, candidates's, corporate) - in all this???
